Dear Colleagues,
I write to you in a certain state of distress. Unfortunately Professor Christophe Mathoulin has just confirmed to me, on 2nd January 2012, that he is unable to come to the meeting in March. He has conflicting commitments regarding the FESSH. As such, I am going to have to re-jig the programme and I will certainly need help from my dear colleagues.
I certainly feel the meeting should go ahead and I will take this as a call for abstracts, which can be forwarded to my email here: meos@eircom.net. I plan in the next day or so to put a programme together and I will be emailing many of you for help to give talks.
On the Friday afternoon we will have free papers and I would appreciate if you could forward papers from your trainees for submission.
We will also have a section, ½ hour to one hour session for problem cases which people may have and might like to ask opinions of their colleagues. We will have a theme of two topics of scaphoid fractures and tumours in the hand to try and accommodate a number of aspects of hand surgery.
Kind regards,
Yours sincerely,
